The Home Energy Loan Program is currently on hold due to interference from the Federal Housing Finance Agency. For more information on current status of the program, visit our High Country Energy Blog. Or email lynne@highcountryconservation.org with questions. Want to help us get the program up and running? Contact your local representative. WHile we are working on a local solution, issus with the FHFA are currently being resolved at the federal level.

The HELP Summit Loan program is a collaboration between Summit County, the Town of Breckenridge and High Country Conservation Center to make available low interest loans to owners of residential owner occupied property that are interested in improving the energy efficiency of their homes.

Owner occupied residential properties in Summit County (including all of the incorporated towns) are eligible under this program however,  this is a pilot program with limited initial funding, therefore if  demand is high some applicants may not be successful in the initial pilot round. Successful applicants will be those that score highest in the selection criteria ranking  and meet all of the required criteria. If you are not selected in the initial pilot program, it is anticipated that additional funds will be made available and those applications can be resubmitted for consideration in  future program phases as they are released.
