HC3 in partnership with Energy Outreach Colorado is offering a new income qualified program, CARE (Colorado’s Affordable Residential Energy) for those who earn 80% AMI (Area Median Income) or less.
In order to qualify for the program, you must earn 80% AMI or lower. If you do not qualify under CARE, it’s still worth giving HC3 a call as they have many energy programs available for all income levels.
Qualified CARE program participants receive a complimentary home energy assessment as well as free LED lighting upgrades. Depending on the needs of the home, additional no-cost energy upgrades including: furnace or boiler tune-up and safety check, insulation and air sealing improvements, high efficiency refrigerator, high-efficiency water heater, storm windows, and programmable thermostats may be installed.
To get started, contact High Country Conservation Center at 970-668-5703 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. An HC3 Energy Coach will then contact you to schedule the free home energy visit. HC3’s energy coach will then help address the energy needs of the home, at no cost to you!
